wage assistance

Wage Assistance is another Australian Government incentive aimed at providing employers with assistance to cover the cost of wages and employee training. Employers who have employed an Indigenous job seeker on a full or part time basis are eligible to apply for the subsidy.

The subsidy is worth up to:

• ­ $4400 over 26 weeks for an ongoing full time job
• $2200 for ongoing part time work of a minimum 15 hours per week.
