An infrastructure project to improve the Elmore Field Days on-site facilities received Regional Partnerships funding. The improved facilities would allow the site to be used for other regional and statewide events and increase the on-site waste storage capacity. Once completed, the site would also meet environmental guidelines as outlined by the Environmental Protection Authority. Amount approved: $220,000

This project was the final stage of a multi-stage project that would ensure that the only fully accredited Health Service Provider in the area had the adequate infrastructure to meet the current and future health and welfare needs of the community. Regional Partnerhips funding was used to purchase labour and materials for the extension of the current facility and construction of a multi-purpose room. Amount approved: $131,118

The Tocumwall Football Netball Club obtained Regional Partnerships funding to contribute to the purchase of materials and the construction of a new multi-purpose sporting and community facility at the Recreation Reserve. The project allowed for the provision of a modern facility to cater for the needs of various community members and groups, including the aged, youth and people with disabilities. Amount approved: $552,200

This project aimed to enhance the facilities available to youth in the Kerang region by upgrading the existing Powerhouse Youth Centre, as well as purchasing and installing outdoor recreation facilities. It would also allow the Centre to employ a youth support facilitator to help Youth Action Committees plan for, develop, market and source funding for further projects. Amount approved: $21,668 |
